CHEER AT WJAA 

WJAA REC Basketball Cheerleading is grades Kindergarten - 6th Grade
November - March

WJAA REC Competition/Basketball Cheerleading is grades 1st - 9th Grade. 
There are NO tryouts to be apart of our competition cheer squads. No experience required!

REC Basketball Cheer

Our REC Basketball Cheer teams will cheer on Saturdays for our home Basketball games and also one Sunday per month. Games start the first weekend of December.  Over the years they have also been invited on occasion to cheer at a Varsity Basketball game. The teams often will cheer a tournament during the year. They will also participate in the end of the Cheer showcase in March. This event is to showcase their cheers and dances they have learned throughout the season. Cheer signups open in September and close in October so that the teams can practice for the Winter Basketball games. 
Some squads may start earlier to start competing.
