NAYS Certification is a required yearly certification for all Head Coaches at WJAA. NAYS mission is "To educate, equip and empower youth sports leaders, volunteers and parents so all children can enjoy the lifelong benefits of sports."
Once you register with NAYS and complete the 3 training modules, you will have access to all of the training courses, membership tools, unique programs, and guiding documents. To be compliant with WJAA's guidelines, you must complete the NAYS Certification thru
www.nays.org and complete the 3 training modules (Concussion Awareness, Bully Prevention, Protecting Against Abuse).
Visit www.nays.org and go to Coaches and Volunteers.
- Register or Renew (for returning memberships) - $20 yearly fee to NAYS
- Complete 3 training modules (Concussion Awareness, Bully Prevention, Protecting Against Abuse)
- Once completed, send an email to the WJAA sports representative by selecting one of the below names:
Baseball: Matt Laws, Softball: Matt McAuliffe, Soccer: Scott Whitehead, Basketball: Josh Clifton
