Tournaments Rules and Guidelines

The WJAA Board Members has agreed that coaches may host tournaments for any division as a fundraiser for their teams. The board highly suggests hosting a tournament in a division that is not the same division has your current team. It will be the responsibility of your team and team parents to run the tournament. These tournaments will be held at the Williamsburg Junior Athletic Association (WJAA) Ball Park in Williamsburg, Ohio. 

Tournament Policy
- All Tournaments must be approved by the Board & Field Scheduler
- Tournament Entry, Gate, & Parking profits will be split 60/40
- Tournament Organizer/Team will receive 60, WJAA will receive 40

WJAA Resposibilities
- Concessions (WJAA will receive all profits from concessions)
- Lining & Dragging fields every other game
- Collecting Registration entry fees through WJAA.org website
- Depositing all money into WJAA main and WJAA team bank accounts

Tournament Organizer Responsibilities
- Communication with WJAA Board members on dates for approval
- Promoting/Organizing
- Setting up format
- Rules, Scorekeeping, Tournament Structure
- Collecting Gate & Parking Fees
- Scheduling Umpires
- Balls & Misc Equipment/Needs
- Trophies/Awards
- Clean up of the park

**Teams not affiliated with WJAA can still host a tournament at the boards discretion and revised policy.
