WJAA Secretary Report for the September Meeting.

Open Meeting @ 8:33 p.m. Motion to accept by Angie Walls and 2^nd by Jim Jermer

President Report: Will discuss in New Business.

Secretary report:  July Minutes read motion to accept by Paul, 2^nd by Angie; August Minutes read motion to accept by Jim, 2^nd by Angie.

Treasurer’s report:  Please see Treasurer for updated amounts.

Committee reports:

 Softball:  Looking for Betty’s Trophies.  Paul will attend county meeting.

Soccer:  Sportsmanship Awareness weekend was 24^th/ 25^th…Remember to LINE & Empty garbage on your fields when it is your scheduled time.  We got U9g & U12g tournaments here…check online for your teams location…Tournament Draw Oct 1^st 6:30 p.m.@ St. Bernadette…camp next year w/ Jack $75.

Baseball:  Age might change from Aug to May.  Mike will let WJAA know after meeting.

Basketball:  Sign-ups October 2^nd and 9^th at the Concession stand 1-3 p.m.

Concession:  Health Dept. came for Inspection…needs to fix a couple problems…PLUMBING being main problem.  Need to fix leak under sink. Hot water in bathroom & leak.

Haunted Woods:  Information is ONLINE...Meeting every Wed. in October at 7 p.m.  Tracy called for port-o-lets.  Some discussion about advertising where / how.

Old Business:  

Mike Poole was given the OK to purchase speakers.  Since then Mike has resigned from W.J.A.A.  Tracy will call Taylor Made Sound Equipment to get Speakers purchased.

Ice Packs given to each team 5 per team…Please see Tracy or Jim to replenish when used.

Deep Fryer purchased to be used for Kids Day / Haunted Woods for Fries.

Sept. 17^th & 18^th WJAA did a Bake Good Sales and ALL proceeds went to help the Katrina victims.  Julie Herron-Bolles U12 boy’s team took care of it.  Raised about $150.

 New Business

Voting Next Month…have attendance sheet…must have attended 4 meetings to VOTE.

Homecoming Parade…October 14^th 5:15-5:30 line-up.  W.J.A.A. will have a HAUNTED WOODS float this year!

Tracy would like to purchase field markers $153 for 4-6 per field after Haunted Woods when more funds are available.  This would be to mark the soccer fields and not have to worry about measuring them out again.

Tracy would like to bungee the garbage cans to the fences and then get cans with Lids/Wheels for the spectator side.  Hope to help them from tipping over.

Jim wants ALL sponsor names in by November 1^st for ALL Sports for Nov. 2004-Nov. 2005 for banner.
