Meeting Minutes

Motion to open meeting 7:30 PM T. Lefker, second Klein

Secretary – Meeting minutes read from October 27th meeting.  Motion to accept Bach second Rachel Lefker

Treasurer – Total account balance - $27,326.39 (13,421.31 from concessions & 13,905.08 from the business account).

VP – Will pick up Kids Glove Equipment in January.  2 dates for Kids Glove games in May, vote on date at next meeting.  Vote to get 300 tickets for one date- all in favor.  Kids Day June 12th

Baseball – Sign-ups January 9th & 16th  - need flyers and post on sign at fire department.

Softball - Sign-ups January 9th & 16th  - need flyers and post on sign at fire department.

Scott Kuntz addressed the organization about girls U10 soccer team and CCSA changing rules to make teams move up when undefeated two consecutive years.  This will be on the table in January and up for vote in February at CCSA.

Soccer – 8 teams out 14 placed in the league.  6 placing 1st or 2nd.  2 open positions at CCSA and a league scheduler and secretary.  Banquet went well thanks to all that helped.  $855 set aside, spent $700.  Challenger Sports Summer Camp will be July 19th – 23rd 2 time slots, 9-12 & 6-9, $150 for the 6 hours and $110 for the 3 hour.  They will hold a coaches Clinic on July 24th.

Concession – Will need help with basketball

Basketball 6th grade boys schedule may change.  Jr Basketball on Sunday.  Waiting for pricing on windows for the gym, labor will be donated.  Jeff Weir said that replacing the windows will be worth many years of gym time.

Cheerleading – N/A

Football –N/A

Field Manager (Chad Graybill) – Need locks for benches.  Water has been turned off.   Electric is good thanks to Bruce Brown, a few minor things to finish.  Mowing will increase $50 a mow this year.  Need to fix mound on field 5 or buy removable mound – check pricing. 

New business

Adoption of Spring Soccer

Soccer – Spring soccer will be like last year but it will be more organized.  It is under CCSA.  Games played on Sat/Sun.

Scott Lefker – would like to gear WJAA sports toward high school seasons, so that you can do all sports and not zeroing in on one sport.

Tracy noted that most kids did play both spring sports.
