WJAA Sept 06 Meeting Minutes.
Attendance: Karen Royer, Kim Imbus, Randy Sannes, Dave Varney, Mike Poole, Kristy Fishback, Tom Fishback, Monte Fitzpatrick, David Hollins, Jim Jermer, Paul Keith, Jim Wetzel, Travis Fisher, Karen Pachicano, Angie Walls, Stephanie Williford, Mike Pope, Tracey Coffey(on phone) Open Meeting @ 8:27 p.m. Secretary report: Treasurer’s report: Committee reports: Concession: Some teams are not buying team treats after their games. We need to get word to all coach’s to remind the other team to buy treats. Can we keep track of who isn’t paying at the concession? Softball: Soccer: Baseball: Basketball: Sign-Ups Oct. 8th 1-3 p.m. check online for more information. Flyers will be sent through school. Cheerleading: Haunted Woods: Dave wants to change the cost to get into the haunted woods from $5/$7 to $5/$8. Do we want to do line hopper tickets? Guides will be in the back this year where the witch’s were in the past. There will be food, drinks, and a fire in that area also. We will start selling tickets at 6:30 this year instead of 6. Dave has flyers for people to hand out. If you would like some please contact him. Dave also got signs to put up Oct. 7 and 8. He got 100 signs this year. Oct 1st is when the big sign will go up. The next meeting for haunted woods will be 9/26 at 7. He still has two sites left for skits. We need more guides. Last year we had 784 adults and 367 kids attend. Maybe we could do a fall festival from 2-6 on Saturday. President Report: Old Business: Dirt will cost $2000, but we will wait until after the Haunted woods to see if we have enough money. ByLaw Proposal for September: A. ELECTIONS OF OFFICERS 1. a. Nominations will be taken for all elected positions in September. b. Ballots will be handed out to all members present at October meeting was approved 12 for 0 against. New Business Nominations for elections are: President-Tracy Coffey w/? Vice Pres.-Jim Jermer Secretary-Kristy Fishback Treasurer-Paul Keith Concessions-Michelle Fisher? VP Baseball-Adam Bailey Dave Varney VP Softball-Travis Fisher Mike Poole VP Soccer-Dave Hollins VP Cheerleading-Angie Walls VP Basketball-Monte Fitzpatrick Dave Varney VP Fundraiser-Dave Hollins Dave Varney makes a proposal to go back to same that was voted on in Nov 5 instead of having 2 signatures required on checks. 2nd by Travis Fisher. Dave Hollins motions that once a month copies be made of bank statement and bills and pass out. 2nd by Kim Imbus Tracy went back to count largest group at a meeting and it was 15. There were 13 here the night we voted on double signatures. She sends out emails to let everyone know what we are voting on. We need to make a committee to make a list of duties for each position(coach’s also). Motion to adjourn meeting at 10:00 p.m. by Dave 2nd by Kristy Fishback. Next meeting was scheduled for Oct 24th at 7:30 p.m. at Church |
