WJAA October Meeting Minutes.

President Report: Will discuss in New Business.

Secretary report:  September Minutes read motion to accept by Don Barge, 2^nd by Dave Varney

Treasurer’s report:  Please see Paul Keith for Amounts/ Questions.  Tracy will break down amounts from the Haunted Woods during the Haunted Woods discussion.

Committee reports:

Softball:  Loveland accepted into league. New officers & Trustees in the County.

Soccer:  Tear down goals after Haunted Woods is put away…Tracy will contact team.  1 team Kim Imbus made it to the finals.  4 teams placed in league.  1^st place Angie Walls U7 boys and U11 girls Kim Imbus, 2^nd place Tracy Coffey U8 boys & U9 girls Kurt Benjamin.

Baseball:  Age limit changed from Aug to May as cutoff.  Ump refund checks given to Mike…Mike will give to Paul.

Basketball:  Game Schedules to be given to Monte on Nov 20^th  Nov. practice schedules have been given out…online also.  Need B.C. for EACH PLAYER & fees before November 20^th.

Concession:  Need to close up building for the year.  Don has volunteered to winterize/redo plumbing in concession this winter.

Haunted Woods:  Oct. 20,21,22…went well considering weather.  Hay bales $3 each we will return the good ones.  As of the Oct. Meeting $678.50 shirts, etc. $7438.36 tickets, $115.52 voting booth (dunking booth 1^st place) for a total of $9220.00…have had some money turned in for shirts since then…Tracy will update amount next month.  Discussion on Movie booth for next year, and make a spot for Wagon Riders to allow guides to stay in the back…Wagon riders can take food/drinks back to them.

Old Business:  

WJAA participated in the Homecoming Parade.

Port-o-lets will come and pick up after haunted woods.

Speakers were purchased.

New Business

Voting  - President Tracy, V.President Jim Jermer, Sec. Angie Walls, Treasurer Paul Keith, VP of Concessions Kristy & Tom Fishback, VP of Basketball Monte Fitzpatrick, VP of Cheerleading Angie Walls, VP of Soccer Tracy Coffey, VP of Softball Mike Poole w/ help from Travis Fisher, VP of Baseball Mike Pope.

Proposal for Haunted Woods to be 2 weekends next year…Need to vote on!  Went into discussion on Haunted Woods and never got around to voting on this.

Paul made proposal to accept the $500 t-shirt bill acquired from Haunted Woods, Susan 2^nd all was in favor.

Proposal for 2 signature lines on WJAA checks…did not pass.

Proposal to charge $20 reg. fee and then after parents participate in a WJAA fundraiser would get back…after much discussion WJAA will put this writing into their WJAA Registration forms and try it out first.

Tracy will get quote and would like to purchase Field Markers for soccer.  Will bring proposal and amount to next meeting.

All sponsor names were to be turned into Jim Jermer by November 1^st.

Proposed Bylaw Change/Addition:

No item(s) will be purchased by the WJAA without a prior authorization through the organization.  Must be voted on at Meeting.  In case of an emergency situation…where a decision must be made in between meetings it will be decided by the Executive Board members, which consist of majority rule of all positions voted in.

Motion to adjourn meeting at 9:15 p.m. by Don Barge, 2^nd by Bob Wagers.

Next meeting was scheduled for November 22^nd at 7:30 p.m. at Church.
