WJAA May Meeting Minutes.

 Attendance:  Jack Tibbs, Adam Bailey, Scott Royer, Jamie Wolfe, Mike Poole, Lowell Smith, Kristy Fishback, Travis Fisher, Jim Jermer, Paul Keith, Tracy Coffey

Open Meeting @ 8:45 p.m. Motion to accept by Kristy Fishback, 2^nd by Lowell Smith

President Report: Will be about 15 min. late will discuss in New Business.

Secretary report:  Will read next month

Treasurer’s report:  Balance as of May 23rd of (Please see Paul for amount) accepted by Lowell Smith, 2^nd by Travis Fisher.  11 Payments on Tractor.

Committee reports:

Softball:  Mike reported on MidSeason Tournaments and thanked…Tom Fishback, Travis Fisher, Bob Crider, Ron Hamilton, Tracy Coffey, Kristy Fishback & Donna Poole for all their help getting the fields even playable for Friday.  They were all under water. Thanks Again.  Also reported that a Loveland coach put his arm around one of our Umpires, Mike asked him to leave and SOSLI overruled saying he could stay.  Since then Loveland has been contacted by Mike to let them know that WJAAs Code of Conduct states NO TOUCHING so he is NOT welcomed back to our park whether county thinks so or not.

Soccer:  Sign-Ups June 17^th. Please have existing players mail their items in.  District Rep. needed to fill spot ASAP.

Baseball:  Tracy reported that A Sr team Goshen has been replaced by WT hornets.  2^nd half schedules should be out by May 30^th w/ games starting June 3^rd.

Basketball:  No rep. No Report

Concession:  Just a reminder that if a game is rescheduled and NO CONCESSION duty was assigned on that day YOUR team will need to cover concession.  Made enough over MidSeason to pay for all the meat for that weekend and for June in Old Williamsburg.  So, anything we make is PROFIT from the grill!  We still need 2 volunteers to work Friday, June 2nd

Haunted Woods:  Oct. 19,20,21…only 1 weekend again.  Any ideals get with Me or Dave.  Meetings will start soon.  Gravel has been put down in the turn around…Josh Brown delivered and we will pay for just the gravel!

Old Business:  

Locks on Barn…Doors still need painted.-Jim Jermer

Pictures are still being remade… Please get with the Photographer directly to schedule 724-0782.

Field Schedule will be posted as soon as Tracy receives 2^nd half baseball schedules.

Coaches that still have make-up games…please try to get them in before JUNE 3^rd.

Reminder to make sure Gates & Barn doors are locked if you are the last one out of the park.

Steel lid is made waiting for paint to dry…will be put on ASAP by Jim Jermer

Sign on front gates…maybe take it down from there and move it to post…Jim Jermer is going to look into a bigger sign to post maybe on the Tractor Barn.

New Business

June in Old Williamsburg Parade.. We have been invited to participate.  If any teams would like to participate..please call Tracy Hurst 724-2624 or Kristy and she can call Tracy.  Line up is at 5:30 p.m. at the New H.S. parade starts at 6 p.m.

Kids Day – June 17^th starting to receive some really good donations…Tracy is asking that they get turned in early so that a sign can be made up as to what is being raffled off.  Teams can start turning baskets in to Tracy also.

Tracy discussed Kid Glove tickets…we were stuck with 95 last year out of 350 and 154 this year out of 300.  Motion was made that we only get 1 night and only 150 tickets.  All was in favor.  WJAA will look into getting a Bus for next year was date is set.

Tracy handed out the old tickets because of the coupons on the back.

We are selling cases of Riblets & Hamburgers!  You can get 48 JTM Riblets for $20 and 72 JTM Hamburgers for $25 all orders to Tracy or Kristy by June 15^th…all order picked up between 3-6 p.m. on June 17^th.

Kristy & Tracy tried to met with Ms. Munk was not home.. Will try again soon.
