Mike Poole motioned to accept the treasure report Jim Jermer 2nd Secretary Report: April & May minutes will be read in June. Computer problems. Presidents Report: Baseball and softball pictures went smoothly. D-instructional Tournament on kid’s day. There will be 18 teams with game time starting at 8:30 am, to 6pm. On kids day each team will have a responsibility to have a volunteer @ one function the whole day. Friday before kids day each team needs to make sure their individual project is set up. We went over the pricing for each game and brought up a corn hole game. We need to keep trying to find things to raffle off. When the fields are red flagged it will now be posted on the web site by 3 or 3:30 pm. We found that if we flag them any earlier, there is still time for them to dry out at times and this will help with keeping games and practices on schedule if at all possible. Tracy also advised that if your child is wearing their uniform from Williamsburg and go and eat at the Gold Star by the bowling ally you will receive 10% off. The kids glove ticket sales where successful this year. For the Monday night game there were only 70 tickets left unsold. For the Thursday nights game there were 11 left. Tracy felt that those would sell before then. Railroad ties were placed in the handicap parking and along the parking lot to help with lot issues. Tracy also advised that when coaches were finished with the drags to please put them back by the barn. The gas tank is going to be filled. Lykins will come in and fill the tank; Paul Keith volunteered to get that done for us. The Gatorade machine was vandalized. No one really got off with any money. It appeared they took three Gatorades and maybe a few dollars in change and ran off. We are in the process of getting a marker to show if money is counter fit. We have received some counter fit money lately. Mostly 1o’s and 5’s. Stewart got a commercial grade freezer for $200. There are normally 3 to 4000 and will have it brought up. Tracy got a roof bid to replace the roof. It was for $400. The shingles are being donated from the mayor of Williamsburg. Ms. Munk who lives down the road is going to see what she can do for us she may pay for some of if not all of the ditch, walk way, black piping, and some sod. We have to give her a quote. Paul Keith is trying to get up with Durbin to donate the $500. We want to give for using the Gym. Committee reports: Softball – Mid season draw is scheduled for June 1st @ Papa Johns. Mike Poole will call all coaches when he learns more information. Lance’s team placed 2nd in the U8 division, and Greg Miller’s team placed 3rd in the U9 division. Great Job!!! Soccer – June 18th from 11-3 pm during the kids day are soccer sign ups. You can print sign up forms off the web site if needed. There was an ad placed in the paper referencing sign ups. Baseball – Mike Pope did not attend. Darren Dean stated that on field #1 the home plate had some concrete sticking out. Not to let any kids slide into it. Mike Poole will fix it ASAP. Tracy will email coaches that have practice and or games on that field to advise them of this and when it will be fixed. Basketball – Stewart did not attend. (Our thoughts and prayers go out to him for a speedy recovery) Concession – Turned in a lot of $ most expense is out of the way. Building is in good shape so that helps with the cost of things. Jim will bring up a piece of plexy glass to fix the popcorn machine door. A parent accidentally broke it. Please remind parents to be up @ 5:30 to have it up and ready by game time. There is a procedure book telling all volunteers how to open and how to close the concession if anyone has any questions. Tracy motioned to adjourn the meeting at 10:14pm |
