WJAA Secretary Report for the June meeting.

Attendance:  Tracy Coffey, Don Barge, Kristy Fishback, Bob Wagers, Scott Royer, Kurt Benjamin, Jim Jermer, Deron Dean, David Little, David Hollins, Stewart VanOver, Mike Pope, Susan Spencer

 President Report: Thanks again for Kids Day Help those of you know who you are.  Places that sent something in to Raffle or donated some other way are posted ONLINE.

Secretary report:  Motion to accept by Jim Jermer and 2^nd by Don Barge

Treasurer’s report:  Paul will give full report for May/June next month.  Tracy Reported on Kids Day Total $5,038.40 after umps & pay outs. Game Total: $1,102.00, Raffle Total:  $1,211.00, Concession Total $2,725.40

 Committee reports:

 Softball:  Mike is at County Meeting for Tournament Draw will get with coaches with the information…All games done by 7-3-05.

Soccer:  Signups went GREAT.  A lot of NEW players for U6.  From this point print forms off from wjaa.org and send them in ASAP…Deadline for Fall Soccer Registration is July 1^st.

Baseball:  D Jr. Tournaments Start July 9^th…14 teams participating…5/6 games Sat., Mon., Wed, Fri, & so on.  Only Team that may be eligible for City is Mike Pope’s teams.

Basketball:  Open Gym End of July for 2 weeks 4-9 p.m. NO response from Tom Durbin to finalize it.

Concession:  Keep kids OUT of concession.  Lots of Compliments from other districts…most teams are doing a good job cleaning, some are lacking.

Haunted Woods:  Getting ready for clean-up, can left over shingles be used for paths or something for Haunted Woods…From sitting in heat they can not be used for the roof.  Kibler will donate old 2x4s for Haunted Woods. Dave Hollins is going to be working on putting electric underground in conduit.  Kibler acct has been locked.  Skits are VOLUNTEER which also means decorations, etc are at your on cost…NOT W.J.A.A.  Dave wants more things to do around the concession area for people waiting.  Contact Dave for any ideals.

 Old Business:  

Roof is done.

Let Tracy know about make-up games so Umpire Envelopes can be made.

Freezer s/b delivered by Thursday.

Paul still working on Full Tank…He did purchase a 5 gallon container for Tractor.

 New Business

Kristy Needs Estimates for Electrical, Drainage and Roof.

Hardship cases. should we have them work for the $$$...maybe 40 logged hrs…to much maybe 10 hours…after discussion not worth it at this time not big enough #’s.  FYI...Current forms do state that parents WILL be asked to work the concession when team duties are responsible.

Coaches PLEASE put equipment away…Umps are responsible for putting bags away after they game is over before they are paid.

Chalk for fields have been ordered, ready for pick-up & to be paid…Located in Owensville.

Should be starting to get Pictures…Plaques will take longer!
