Basketball – N/A Concession – The concession is doing very well this year Money wise and also supplies wise. Mike stated not to turn on the hot water any water for that matter until it is hooked back up. When concession is ready call mike pope and he will be more than happy to come up and hook everything back up. Concession would also like to add that they want to have a sign made up asking parents to keep their children out of the concession stand at all time. New Business Tracy said that the sign in the concession stand need to be updated with the current prices of the items that we are selling in the stand. Mike pope said that it states in the baseball league rule book that teams will be fined $25.00 if they try to bring in team drinks and or snacks. www.wjaa.org is up and running. Tracy wants to push “Kids Day” back later in June. The date is now set for June 18th. Mike Pope asked if softball could get a softball team together for Kids Day to try and bring in a little more money. Soccer sign ups are that day also. There was some discussion about changing the meeting night to another night. Everyone agreed unanimously that the meeting night should stay the same. Bylaws state that Tracy should appoint a field Mgr. Tracy asked if anyone wanted to volunteer to do this. Mike Poole said he would do all the fields but not line them. Mike will drag and flag the fields; however each coach will need to be responsible to line their own fields. We have new equipment and we do not want individuals using them if they are not properly informed on the functions of the machines. Ron Hamilton said that the older drag is awesome we just need a new fence in it. Tracy said that we would look into getting a new fence for it. There were no updates on the Texas Hold em’ tournament. Michelle brought up trying to get wrestling in the youth program at Williamsburg. Mr. Isaac said that he would let us use the old band room at the old High school. He said that has been changed into a wrestling practice room for the High school. Tracy said to try and get some numbers together and bring it to the next meeting. Purposed Bylaw change: Michelle motioned to change the bylaw regarding the player name on the back of their baseball/softball jersey. This bylaw change would basically be taking out the RULE I #9 uniform and sponsorship. This will allow individual teams to put the players name on the jerseys if that team wants them. Bylaw Update/Retyped: Tracy passed out retyped bylaws regarding all the old bylaws only she updated the layout. No bylaws were changed. Tracy motioned to accept the bylaws as they are it passed ominously Michelle 2nd Motion to adjourn meeting at 8:38pm– Christy 1st, Mandy 2nd.
