WJAA BASKETBALL CODE OF CONDUCT POLICY

The WJAA dictates that the conduct of its players, coaches, and fans will be of the utmost importance.  Therefore the following code of conduct policy will be invoked to help create the type of atmosphere that is most important to our organization and to help foster the growth that we want in our young players for their overall athletic and fundamental development.                     

All players, coaches, and fans will be held to this conduct policy.   

Each team will be responsible for the actions of each player and also impacted by the behavior of their coaches, fans and parents.  All C.B.Y.B.A zero tolerance policies will be followed and adhered too.  WJAA will also implement the following policies that will overlap to include: 

Each Parent/Fan, Coach, or Player that is cited for unruly behavior, (which is already set forth  by the C.B.Y.B.A code of conduct policy), by any league official and or game official, will be issued a written letter of reminder of the code of conduct policy, that will also serve as written warning to appropriate behavior at Junior Athletic events.

If a Parent/Fan, Coach, or Player is cited for unruly behavior, (which is already set forth by the C.B.Y.B.A code of conduct policy), by any league official and or game official, will be issued a second letter to inform them that they will be issued a one game suspension of all C.B.Y.B.A events.  If the suspension is levied against a Parent of a WJAA associated player, than that player will be exempt from the following game, as well.  If the offender is a coach, than the policy would apply in the same manner, if their child is on the team. 

If a Parent/Fan is dismissed from any C.B.Y.B.A game by any league or game official for same cited misbehavior, than that too, results in the same one game suspension for parent and also the child would be exempt from participating in the following game as well.  No warning letter will be received for being ejected from the game, because  WJAA will follow the C.B.Y.B.A league policy for coaches and players for this action, which ends in a one game suspension for each for being ejected from a C.B.Y.B.A game.

**Each Immediate ejection will be reviewed by the WJAA on a case by case basis.
