Meeting Minutes

 Motion to open meeting 8:30 PM Bach, second Cummins 

Secretary – Meeting minutes read from July 28th meeting.  Motion to accept Cummins second Klein

Treasurer – Total account value $26,013.70.  After paying off all debt we would have an account total of $2,493.22.  Look into paying off loan after Haunted Woods.  Motion to accept Klein second Foster

Vice President – Kids Glove is done

Field Coordinator – Addressed mowing issue and weather permitting fields will be mowed by Thursday for soccer.

Transformer is set in back, a quote to finish all electric $1675

Will also run phone line back to barns for lights and alarms.

Decided to wait on field dirt.

Softball – County meeting changes:

            U8 Limited kid pitch (4 pitches and coach finishes)

            U6 September new cut off date

            U6 – U14 Pitchers must wear face mask

Baseball – Look into placing black fabric around back stop – controls interference with the pitcher

 Cheerleading – Sign-ups September 16^th and uniform fitting

Basketball – Jr basketball (grades 1-3) in November for 8 weeks runs into January.  Dan Mckibben to help may need volunteers.  September 19^th or 26^th sign ups for 4^th – 6^th grade

Concession – Nothing to report

Volleyball – Bought nets and balls total $278

Football – Sending home flyers for 2^nd – 6^th grades, schedule will be Monday 7-8:30 at high school football fields, Wednesday 5:30 – 7:00 at WJAA.  September 7^th –October 14^th.  Oct 3^rd Saturday night game

 Soccer – We have approximately 169-172 players.

U10/U11 goals are incorrect sizes- Cheapest pair $974.98 at Dicks or $1028.58 for goals, sockets and shipping.  We are also going to check into having them cut.

Benches need to be moved – need 8

If it is real wet do not use the fields

New Business

Cap for multiple sports – $180 per season multi-sport cap per family. Vote 16-0 in favor of cap.

Make it effective Fall ’09. Vote 13-1 in favor
