Meeting Minutes

Motion to open meeting 8:30 PM Bach, second T. Lefker

Secretary – Meeting minutes read from April 28th meeting.  Motion to accept Foster second Cummins.

Treasurer –Total $25,484.13

Fence repairs – total cost to repair fields 4, 5, 6, & 7 is $1451

Motion for vote on Colonial Fence completing repairs  Bach, second Cummins

Vote – Pres-Y, VP – Y, Tres.-Y, Secretary – Y, Softball – Y, Concession – Y,

Basketball – Y,  Cheerleading – Y

Motion to accept Treasurers report Foster, second T. Lefker

VP – Need to pay for Kids Glove tickets

Pres – Thank you letters to Joe Speeg and Bill Graybill for donating flag poles.

Thanks for all the help at the softball tournament

Football – Kids day sign ups

Cheerleading – Kids day sign ups

Basketball – Dan’s camp 2^nd week in June

Start looking at cost of gym time for next year, maybe start fixing things in the gym to avoid paying a fee.  If we decide to fix windows Walt Spurlock has offered to provide the labor at no cost.

Soccer – sign up kids day.  U6 will have goalies this year

Volleyball – Flyers went home today sign ups at kids day.

Concessions – Converting to Coke products June 6^th, we will have new signs.

Field Manager – Duke setting new transformer, will be used for coolers in back concession and batting cage, etc.

Fields 6 & 7 need dirt

Still some problems with coaches cancelling games but for the most part it is working well & thanks for all the help at the softball tournaments

Old Business

Kids Day Baskets – only 1^st grade participated what should the prize be if any?

Slusie guy will be here as well as Face painting and balloon artist  

Cost of 2 bouncy houses $340

Sell passes  -    All day pass - $10.00

Single ticket - $2.00

Schedules are online

Baskets are due June 11^th make sure they are labeled

Need grill price list from Rachel

Prizes for home run derby needed as well

Money for dirt – 20 yards for field 6 & 7 - $1000

2 – 12x12 bins for dirt and gravel = $1200

Mary Vice will do booth Kids Day with decals and stickers.  Also need a “NoPets” sign from Mary.

WJAA to advertise for June in Olde Williamsburg and the 5K walk and run.
